SF Modern was founded by B. Do and I. Velasquez, who got their start in 1999 by renovating run-down San Francisco Edwardians.  Ms. Do has a background in the visual arts from the University of California at Berkeley and has a passion for innovative design that combines aesthetics, function and value. 

Ms. Velasquez is also a graduate of UC Berkeley and has years of experience in construction management with an excellence in working with people, products, schedules and processes.

SF Modern believes that the building process should be creative, collaborative and enjoyable.   Their intent with every project is to construct a well-designed modern residence that is treasured by its owners.

SF Modern partners with General Contractors, Architects, Engineers and other professionals to create quality homes for their clients and for speculative sale.  SF Modern projects are typically located in San Francisco.
